2026-2027 AKADEMİK YILI STUDY ABROAD WASHINGTON D.C. DEĞİŞİM PROGRAMI EK KONTENJAN BAŞVURU SONUÇLARI AÇIKLANDI!

Programa katılmaya hak kazanan öğrenciler, 2026–2027 Akademik Yılı Güz ve Bahar dönemlerinde eğitimlerine Bay Atlantic Üniversitesi’nde değişim öğrencisi statüsünde devam edebileceklerdir.

Programa kabul edilmiş olmasına rağmen katılımdan feragat etmek isteyen öğrencilerimizin, sonuçların ilanını takiben 15 Mayıs günü saat 18.00’e kadar taleplerini infomena@bau.edu e-posta adresine iletmeleri gerekmektedir.

Yukarıda belirtilen tarihler yalnızca Güz 2026 dönemi için kabul almış öğrenciler için geçerlidir. Bahar 2027 dönemi için kabul alan öğrencilerimizin yerleştirme süreci Mayıs ayının sonunda başlayacaktır.

Belirtilen tarihe kadar feragat bildiriminde bulunmayan ve aynı zamanda başvuru sürecini başlatmayan öğrencilerin başvuruları iptal edilecektir.

STUDY ABROAD WASHINGTON D.C. PROGRAMINA KABUL ALDIM, NE YAPMALIYIM?

Study Abroad programına kabul alan öğrencilerin Bay Atlantic Üniversitesi’ne yerleştirme işlemleri, Uluslararası Akademik İlişkiler ve Programları Birimi tarafından yürütülmektedir.

Bu süreçte öğrencilerimizin, ofisimiz tarafından üniversite e-posta adreslerine iletilecek başvuru adımlarını dikkatle takip etmeleri ve belirtilen şekilde eksiksiz olarak tamamlamaları gerekmektedir.

Ders Seçimleri:

Öğrencilerimizin ders eşleştirme süreci, bölüm başkanları veya bölüm intibak sorumluları ile koordineli şekilde UMIS sistemi üzerinden yürütülecektir.
UMIS sistemi üzerinden ders seçiminin önümüzdeki hafta başlaması beklenmektedir. İlişkin dönemin ders programı ve ders denklik belgeleri infomena@bau.edu adresince paylaşılacaktır.

Ders Seçimi Sırasında Dikkat Edilmesi Gereken Hususlar:

• Programa kabul edilen 4. sınıf Mühendislik ve Doğa Bilimleri Fakültesi öğrencilerinin, programa katılımı yalnızca 2026-2027 Akademik Yılı müfredatında yer alan “Capstone I–II” derslerinin birinden feragat etmeleri durumunda mümkün olacaktır.
  Söz konusu derslerin Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi’nde alınması zorunludur. Bu durumun öğrencinin eğitim sürecine etkileri tamamen öğrencinin kendi sorumluluğundadır.
• Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi’nde hâlihazırda sınama (suspension) statüsünde bulunan öğrenciler, Bay Atlantic Üniversitesi’nde aldıkları dersleri, dönüşlerinde yalnızca sınama statüsünde alabilecekleri derslere saydırabileceklerdir.
  Bu nedenle ilgili öğrenciler ders seçimi sırasında, bu duruma uygun şekilde derslerini seçmelilerdir. Öğrencilerin Bahçeşehir Üniversitesindeki sınama statüsü herhangi bir şekilde bertaraf edilemeyecektir.

ÖNEMLİ NOT

Ders eşleştirme sürecinde;

• Seçilen dersin partner kurumda açılmaması,
• Dersin kontenjan sınırlamaları nedeniyle alınamaması,
• Karşı kurumda ilgili fakülte tarafından zorunlu tutulan dersin bulunmaması

gibi durumların yaşanması hâlinde, olası hareketlilik sonrası ortaya çıkabilecek ders tanınmaması, dönem kaybı veya öğrenim süresinin uzaması gibi sonuçlardan doğan sorumluluk öğrenciye aittir.

Bu nedenle öğrencilerimizin, sürecin her aşamasında fakülte koordinatörleri veya bölüm intibak sorumluları ile düzenli iletişim hâlinde olmaları önemle rica olunur.

2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR STUDY ABROAD WASHINGTON D.C. EXCHANGE PROGRAM ADDITIONAL QUOTA APPLICATIONS RESULTS ANNOUNCED!

Students who have been accepted to the program will be able to continue their studies at Bay Atlantic University as exchange students throughout the Fall & Spring semesters of the 2026–2027 Academic Year.

Students who have been accepted but wish to withdraw from participation are required to submit their requests via e-mail to infomena@bau.edu no later than May 15 at 6:00 PM, following the announcement of the results.

The dates specified above are applicable only to students accepted for the Fall 2026 term. The application procedures of students accepted for the Spring 2027 semester will be initiated in the late May.

Students who have been accepted for the Fall 2026 term and do not submit a withdrawal notice to our office or initiate their application procedures by March 10, 2026, will have their applications cancelled.

Applications of students who neither submit a withdrawal request by the specified deadline nor initiate the application process will be cancelled.

I HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED TO THE STUDY ABROAD WASHINGTON D.C. PROGRAM — WHAT SHOULD I DO?

The placement procedures of students accepted to the Study Abroad program at Bay Atlantic University are carried out by the Office of International Academic Relations and Programs.

During this process, students are required to carefully follow the application steps that will be sent to their student e-mail addresses by our office and complete them in full as instructed.

Course Selection

The course matching process will be conducted via the UMIS system, in coordination with department chairs or departmental course coordinators. The course selection process on the UMIS system is expected to be initiated this week. The course schedule of the relevant semester and articulation agreements of the courses will be shared by infomena@bau.edu.

Important Points to Consider During Course Selection

• Participation of 4th-year students from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences will only be possible if they waive one of the “Capstone I–II” courses included in the 2026–2027 Academic Year curriculum.
  These courses must be taken at Bahçeşehir University, and any impact this may have on the student’s academic progress is entirely the student’s responsibility.
• Students who are currently under suspension status at Bahçeşehir University will only be able to transfer the courses taken at Bay Atlantic University as courses that can be recognized under suspension status upon their return.
  Therefore, such students are required to select their courses in accordance with this status. The suspension status at Bahçeşehir University cannot be bypassed or overridden.

IMPORTANT NOTE

During the course matching process, in cases where:

• The selected course is not offered at the partner institution,
• The course cannot be taken due to quota limitations,
• A course required by the relevant faculty at the partner institution is not available,

any consequences that may arise after the mobility period — including course non-recognition, loss of semester, or extension of the study period — shall be the sole responsibility of the student.

For this reason, students are strongly advised to remain in regular communication with their faculty coordinators or departmental course coordinators at every stage of the process.
