STUDY ABROAD WASHINGTON D.C PROGRAMINA KATILMAYA HAK KAZANDIM, NE YAPMAM GEREKİYOR?

Güz Dönemi Study Abroad programına katılmaya hak kazanan öğrencilerin Bay Atlantic Üniversitesine yerleştirme işlemleri Uluslararası Akademik İlişkiler ve Programları birimi tarafından yapılmakta olup öğrenciler kurumun ilettiği başvuru süreçlerini takip etmeli ve istenen şekilde tamamlamalıdır.

Programa hak kazanan öğrencilerimizin akademik koordinatörlerine başvurarak aşağıda yer alan Öğrenim Öncesi Anlaşması (Before Mobility Agreement) ile ders eşleştirme çalışmalarına başlamaları gerekmektedir.

Öğrenim Öncesi Anlaşması 

Bay Atlantic Üniversitesinde Güz 2025 dönemi için açılacak dersler Nisan ayında ilan edilecektir. Derslerin açıklanmasını takiben öğrencilerimize akademik koordinatörleri ile ders eşleştirmelerini yapacağı Learning Agreement formu iletilecektir.

ÖNEMLİ!

Ders eşleştirme süreçlerinde oluşabilecek durumlar hakkında;

• Seçilen dersin partner kurumda açılmaması,
• Dersin kontenjan sebebiyle alınamaması,
• İlgili fakültenin zorunlu tuttuğu derslerin karşı kurumda bulunmaması,

Vb. koşullarda öğrencilerin oluşabilecek hareketlilik sonrası ders tanınma (dönem uzaması, dönem kaybı, ders kaybı vb.) aşamalarında sorumluluk öğrenciye aittir. Bu süreçte akademik koordinatörlerinizle iletişimde olmanız önemle rica olunmaktadır.

DEĞERLENDİRME SÜRECİ

    Başvuru koşullarını sağlayan öğrenciler genel not ortalamaları dikkate alınarak seçilmiş olup Fakülte kararınca Lisansüstü seviyesinde eğitim gören ve mezuniyet aşamasında olan öğrenciler değerlendirilmeye alınmamıştır. Ek olarak, 3.Sınıf Bahar dönemindeki öğrenciler önümüzdeki akademik yılda “Capstone 1” alma zorunluluğu sebebiyle programa kabul edilmemiştir.

2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR FALL SEMESTER STUDY ABROAD WASHINGTON D.C PROGRAM APPLICATION RESULTS FOR THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AND NATURAL SCIENCES ARE ANNOUNCED!

Students who have been selected for the program will have the opportunity to study as exchange students at Bay Atlantic University during the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year.

Students who have been selected but wish to withdraw from the program must send their requests to infomena@bau.edu by 6 p.m on AprİL 22, 2025.

I’ve Been Selected for the Study Abroad Program, What Should I Do?

The placement process for students selected for the Fall Semester Study Abroad Washington D.C program at Bay Atlantic University will be carried out by the Office of International Academic Relations and Programs. Students should follow the application procedures provided by the institution and complete them as required.

Selected students should contact their academic coordinators and begin the course matching process with the Before Mobility Agreement listed below.

Before Mobility Agreement

Fall 2025 courses to be offered at Bay Atlantic University will be announced within the month. Following the announcement, the Learning Agreement form to be with the coordination of academic advisors will be sent to the students.

IMPORTANT!

Regarding potential issues in the course matching process:

• The selected course is not offered by the partner institution,
• Inability to enroll in the course due to capacity limits,
• Mandatory courses required by the faculty are not available at the partner institution,

In such cases, students are responsible for any recognition issues after the mobility period, such as extended study period, loss of semester, or unrecognized courses. It is highly recommended that students stay in contact with their academic coordinators throughout this process.

CONSIDERATION PROCESS

Students satisfying the application requirements were accepted based on their grade point average (GPA). Under the decision of the faculty, graduate students and students who are at their graduation stage were not considered during the application process. Additionally, the 3rd grade students who are obligated to take “Capstone 1” course in the following academic year were not accepted for the program.
